  • Use an attention-grabbing headline. Speaking of copy, the most important copy in your ad? Your headline. The headline is what’s going to initially draw people’s attention—so make sure it’s bold, catchy, and clearly sets the stage for the rest of the ad.
  • Make sure your banner ads are well-designed. If you’re focused your PPC campaign on Google Display Network, make sure you invest the time and resources into creating well-designed banner ads. Your banner ads need to jump off the screen and grab people’s attention, so make sure to use key design elements (like typography, hierarchy, and layout) and eye-catching visuals to design an ad that drives results.
